CIHRM GHANA HONOURS GCB BANK AT 3rd AGM 2

At the Chartered Institute of Human Resource Management's 3rd Annual General Meeting (AGM) themed, “AI & HRM; Balance Technology and Emotions”, GCB Bank was recognized for its significant contributions to Human Resource (HR) development. As the headline sponsor, the Bank’s commitment to advancing HR practices was prominently recognized.

The AGM delved into the previous year's activities, accounts and stakeholder engagements that are geared towards positioning the Institute as a Centre of Excellence in Ghana and beyond.

Founded and established in March 1973 as the Ghana Institute of Personnel Management (GIPM) and renamed in May 2005 as the Institute of Human Resource Management Practitioners, the CIHRM received legal and constitutional recognition in August 2020.

During the AGM, Mr. Kwabena Yeboah, Head, HR of GCB Bank was elected as an Executive Member of the Institute's Governing Council that oversees its effective and efficient performance annually. Peter Bosrotsi, Manager, HR Risk & Operations was elevated to Fellow status; the highest level of membership at CIHRM that strictly qualifies nominees with at least 10 years of HR management practice and development.

Additionally, GCB Bank received a special citation for its outstanding support and continuous contribution to the evolution of Human Resource development in the digital age.
